There has been much talk in recent years as to how to make your AGA more efficient.
One way is to replace previously used rockwool in the doors and lids with high density thermal blanket. This is what all new Aga’s a built with and is also what is used to lag furnaces with.. so makes sense.
Also by putting a deeper door liner on the bottom oven, this additionally adds to the insulating properties.
We have had so much feedback about how much this has saved.
This is a bulk kit which includes
- Moulded door liners for pre 74 or traditional AGA Standard cookers x 2
- Lid liners x 2 – CHOOSE STAINLESS OPTION FOR SOLID FUEL COOKERS ONLY
- Lid insulation pads x 2
- Door insulation pads x 2
- Door Rope x 2
- Lid Seal x 2
- Heatmate – High temperature silicone
- Lid and Door screws and fixings
Depending on the age of your Aga, it is possible some fettling may be required to fit the lid liners. They will also need 4 x 4mm holes drilling (screws provided)
